As a preschool, Kidz Academy has a predictable schedule each day and will have specific units of study each week. The curriculum is based on the traditional materials and added learning experiences that follow concrete philosophies. During the day, the children will help serve meals, work independently, work and receive lessons that are purposefully selected to meet the child’s needs. They will also actively play both inside and outside and participate in a theme-based group projects. Kidz Academy follows all state guidelines and, therefore, has up to a 1 to 10 child/teacher ratio for the preschool classroom and a 1 to 8 child/teacher ratio for the 2 year old classroom. And an infant room that is 1 to 4 child/teacher ratio.
Your child will have learning experiences that include: letters, numbers, Spanish, Sign Language, shapes, colors, sensory play, arts and crafts, music and movement, outside play, and cooking activities.
Admission
Kidz Academy will meet with any family interested in enrolling their child during a specified time. After such meeting, proper paperwork must be filled out and accompanied by a material fee of $75 and the first week’s tuition. The Material fee will be an annual recurring fee.
Weekly Tuition
Age 0-2 -$275 per week
Age 2 – $250 per week
Ages 3 and older- $225 per week (if potty trained!)

Child Care Practices
At Kidz Academy children are given the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and creatively through stimulating Center based curriculum.
Center Based Curriculum is the philosophy of allowing the children to be independent learners who are guided by the teacher to learn concentration, coordination, and confidence to allow them to begin their academic journey. Each child learns on an individual basis and is given one-on-one lessons throughout the day.
The children also learn through interactive play such as constructive play, music, dancing, games, and outdoor play. They also have the opportunity to play pretend with others with a pretend kitchen, baby dolls, etc.
Program Goals
The primary goal at Kidz Academy is to provide an engaging learning experience for the children while giving them the comfort and nurture of a home-like atmosphere. Offering a small environment with consistent, caring teachers and building personal relationships with each child and family is a key aspect to making this goal possible. Also, through following the traditional curriculum children will learn about the following academic concepts:

- Fine Motor/Gross Motor Control
- Understanding of Order
- Organization, Sorting, Matching Skills
- Differentiation, Classifications
- Numbers
- Letters & Letter Sounds *
- Reading phonetic words
- Basic Mathematic concepts
- Shapes, Colors, Patterns
- Appropriate social skills with peers and teacher
- Safety Skills
- Self-Help Skills such as hand washing, toileting, eating, cleaning up after self, and decision making
At Kidz Academy, learning is based on an individual level, which means that for each child, the learning process and rate may be different. The child will always be given activities that challenge him/her to continue progressing in all areas of development.
Meals and Snacks
Kidz Academy provides breakfast at 8:30AM, lunch is served at 12:00PM, and snack is served at 3:00PM. Each meal and snack is nutritious and follows the guidelines set forth by the state of Missouri.

Kidz Academy is closed for the following observed holidays:

Fourth of July
If any holiday falls on a Sat. or Sun. Kidz Academy will be closed the previous Friday/Following Monday.
